Project Manager for software Projects (M1 - M3)

In order to meet the growing demands from our clients, we are looking to recruit a project manager to lead and deliver high value projects for our clients
Job description / responsibilities
- Preparing and maintaining Project Plan
- Preparing and maintaining Project schedule
- Risk Identification and Mitigation Plan
- Client communication and feedbacks
- Participation in preparation of Requirements, Design, Test documents
- Conducting regular project reviews
- Configuration Management
- Status reporting to all stakeholders
- People management, mentoring, setting goals of all resources and excellent People handling skills
- Co-ordination with different teams and stakeholders and set proper expectations
- Work on estimation process and knowledge on estimation methodologies RUP, FP and Waterfall Model
- Transition and Plan for scope enhancements
- Identify improvement areas and proactively submit propositions to client
- Plan for logistics and availability of resources
- Take complete ownership (end-to-end) of the project
- Execution of project to customer agreed time line and budget
- Productivity improvement initiatives
- Awareness of contract clauses specific to project and implementation of the same
- Adherence to Project specific plan (as per estimate in the proposal)
- Knowledge on SDLC Processes
- Identifying new Business opportunities
Desired but not compulsory:
- Conduct regular ISO Audits
- Knowledge on ISO 9001:2000
The Candidate
The candidate will ideally:
- Have 5+ years experience.
- Experience with one or more programming language(C, Java, C++,.NET).
- Experience in database design concepts like SQL SERVER, Oracle
- Team player.
- Proficiency in English is absolutely essential.
- Must be able to manage time effectively (effective under pressure; beat deadlines; adhere to schedules).
